The Authority has cancelled the permission and withdrawn the authorisation of Richard Adams (“Mr Adams”), of Cross At Hand, Maidstone Road, Staplehurst TN12 0RH. The Authority’s action took effect on 10 January 2018 and a copy of the Final Notice, which sets out the reason for the action, is displayed on the Authority’s website and can be accessed using the following link: https://fca.org.uk/publication/final-notices/richard-adams-2018.pdf As a consequence of this action Mr Adams is no longer an authorised person for the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (“the Act”) and he may not carry on regulated activities which fall within the scope of the Act. The reason for this action is that Mr Adams failed to pay fees and levies to the Authority, despite repeated Authority requests that he do so.
